2011 Calendar of Events

CIC has been an active participant in special events scheduled in each
calendar year such as shows, open days, field days and cultrual activities
of special significance.

CIC has realised that participation in these events is necessary as it
creates an avenue in driving its message to the people of Papua New Guinea to depend on coffee for their livelihoods. Also these events
enables the CIC to promote coffee to potential overseas buyers who
might be visiting the country to attend these events, especially shows.

The following are scheduled events for the 2010 calendar year. CIC is expected to be present at these events either through direct hosting or indirectly by participating.

The Goroka Show promises to be as exciting as ever. This show piece event culminates the true spirit of the people of Goroka and of Papua New Guinea. Coinciding with our Independence Day Celebrations right around Papua New Guinea, the Goroka Show is a time when the people of Goroka remember the importance of being an independent nation and celebrates with the rest of Papua New Guinea in one accord in their traditional regalia. Visitors are also flocking in from various parts of Papua New Guinea and of course overseas to become a part of this special occassion.
